Sarah Darlington

(Freelance Guide)

Sarah has been kayaking for 25 years. Sea kayaking experience includes paddling much of the English, Scottish and Welsh coasts as well as leading and taking part in trips in British Columbia, France, Spain and Argentina. She loves playing in the surf around the South West coastline and white water. She has paddled many of the classic British rivers as well as the French Alps.

Since leaving teaching last year, she has been making the most of her newfound freedoms and has recently paddled in Anglesey, Cornwall, West Wales, the Scillies and the West Coast of Scotland as well as her local spots on the Devon and Dorset coasts.

Sarah loves all that the Dorset coast has to offer, from rockhopping round Portland, surfing the Kimmeridge ledges, playing in the races off Peverill Point and Old Harry to chilled journeying, enjoying the wild life and picnicking and wild camping on remote beaches.

Sarah is a sea kayak leader and a 4* whitewater paddler. In addition, she has considerable experience of working with children and adults with special needs including autistic spectrum conditions and ADHD.
